    I haven't had an issue with mine but if you're worried about sucking in crap then just get the pre-filter for the top. Just double check your connecting diameter to get the correct fit.

    The design is such that water gets pushed through the bottom of the head. After torrential downpours I've seen a tiny bit of water in my air box but never anything that would get past the filter and the air flow dries it quickly.

    Don't turn the head around to face the rear especially while daily driving...lot of guys do this for the gram or whatever but it actually hinders performance at speeds around 40mph and above. ARB has some good info on this. Creates a vacuum that prevents the engine from being able to pull the air it needs. They only recommend doing that if you're on a trail going slowly
