The cab is torn down to bare metal now. Just waiting for a warm day to Peal & Seal, and finish with vinyl.

All the stuff also showed up for the deck plate mod.

Peal & Seal recommends 55 degree or warmer weather for the install, and it got cold this week, so in the meantime I installed new speakers. Note my precise Dremmel work:

I was a little annoyed I had to cut the plastic speaker mount as the Sony's I picked up ($35 a pair on Amazon) didn't fit. The back of them bulges more than the stock speakers.

Also did the deckplate mod. I haven't driven much, but it definitely feels like there's more power. Maybe it's the placebo effect, but I'll take.

My Dremmel work was equally artistic on the airbox, so I put some silicon around the plate before screwing her down.

At long last, the SNOW ANGEL is back ... Today I ordered:
    • ICON Extended Travel Coilovers
    • ICON 2-inch rears
    • ICON UCAs
    • OME Dakar Springs
    • Pro Comp Series 87 wheels
I have a line on Toyo 285/75R16s, then I need a front bumper, and everything will be in place to transform this truck.

Stuff arrives next week. Can't wait to start twisting wrenches.

Well, after months and months of delays, I got the suspension in, wheels on, and MagnaFlow installed:

Rock sliders are getting welded on in a week or two. Rear bumper shortly after that. I still need a front bumper, and when that happens the new headlights will go in and grill redone.
