Anyone up for a snow run this weekend? I am up for Saturday 12/10/11 if anyone is interested. I've never gone out to the snow in the taco before or here in AZ for that matter. Just looking for something fun for the day up in the snow.

Anyone have any ideas, places to go?

Looking out the window at work and see there is very little snow left on 4 peaks.

    Yeah true!

@ Adam: Not sure I'll be making the Pleasant run this weekend. Forgot about an overnighter I was gonna do with my stepdad up around Payson.

I was thinking somewhere around Payson. Spoke to a buddy of mine at work and he suggested Crown King, but i'm not sure how much snow they will have. Any thoughts?

It's all good. I'm stuck playing golf this Saturday now with my old boss (keeping up the networking and fishing for an investor for a new project at the same time :) )

They should have snow. It's 6500 feet up there, and after yesterday's storm it should be good.

If I may make a recommendation, Mogollon Rim would be an amazing drive for you guys! Did it myself last year in the snow, great time and awesome views!

Rim Road is a fun trip, but they close it during snow season don't they?

We went 3 or so weeks before X-mas last year, do not know if anything has changed since then.

It's probably best to call the forest service for that district (I think it's Sitgreaves, at least it is for Woods Canyon Lake area) to check road closures.

Back side of thumb butte in Prescott is fun. Did it last year around xmas at night. Theres also white spar rd, senators hwy, and a couple others. Grew up up there so if you need any info (goes for anybody) let me know. Lots of trails that are fun year round, and especially fun In winter. Lots of snow.

    BUILT, not bought...
Payette Draw in Payson would be nice after the next snow/rain showers (not this weekend, but the following weekend).
