The hardest part? The clock/hazard module bracket. I ended up taking the whole stock factory unit apart. This probably took at least an hour or two after fiddling with it. My advice, if you don't want to take everything apart, use razor blades for each tab, so you'll need six of them. Be very careful.

I didn't want to break anything because I wanted it to be reversible.

I agree. I messed with the clock for like half an hour.

I tried and tried. My friend kept on saying "let me try." And I usually like to break my own stuff, lol. So he convinced me to take it apart and I did. What was interesting is that the mother board is designed for a tape deck, there is a slot through it. Saving their dimes on universal/integrated stuff. I'd be interested to see the JBL head unit apart.

Anyway, I'd never thought I'd say this, I minimized most of my bands in my Graphic EQ, but the stock speakers scream now lol. My ears were ringing the last time I left the vehicle. Kinda scary.
