I've got Bridgestone REVO2 A/T 265/70/17 on my truck. I've had them on for about 3k miles or so, so far I really like them. Quiet and ride well on the road, have good wet traction and the couple of times I've had them in the dirt they hook up well.

Vinyl letter insets for tailgate. Garmin CS60 GPS mounting. Other misc décor in the form of decals.
I sport the Michelin LTX AT2.
I ran two sets on my 2002 Access cab, and loved them. When I bought my '16 TRD OR Access cab, I almost took the Michelins off the '02, but decided to just keep and burn the Wranglers that came on the truck.
The day will arrive that Ill need to decide between the BFG KO2s and the Michelin LTX TA2s.
The KO2: good off road, nice looking tire.
The LTX AT2: Good AT tire, but here's what might push me to the Michelins. Yes, Many say the KO2 is quiet. But itsWH10.jpg not as quiet nor smooth as the Michelin. And I take LONG trips. I've done lots of long trips with tires that hum and hum. But I've also driven about 150K miles (lond distance) on the LTX AT2s, and they are smooth and quiet. And you sit in the truck for 6 - 8 hours at highway speeds, and that droning takes a toll.
That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

I also had a set of the Revos on my 02, and loved them. Decided not to go back for a second set cuz the first set fried in about 45K miles. Moved on to the Michelin LTX AT2s. (went through 2 sets, and sold the truck. Will be deciding between the BFG KO2s and the Michelin LTX AT2s next.)

So turns out my wife's Yukon takes 245/75/16s and just happens to be in need of new tires. Therefore, with a smile on my face I put my tires on her rig and bought some 265/75/16 E rated KO2s for the Taco. They were just too damn sexy to pass up. Really make the truck. Got some new rims as well while I was there. Surprisingly, to my ear I am unable to hear any difference in noise between the KO2 and the stock tires. They ride great.

I almost bought the Michelin LTX AT2s, but while they are probably better all around tires, they just didn't have the aggressive look I was seeking. And the Coopers were nice as well, but I didn't like the look of the tread as much as the KO2. Thanks to everyone for your input on the thread. Many great tires out there, but in the end, to each his own I guess. Now I'm just waiting for Bilstein to release the 5160/6112 setup for the 2017. Can't wait to break these puppies in.

Good to know about the milage. I rotate my tires at every oil change, so hopefully they'll last a bit longer than that. I didn't even know the LTX had an A/T version. We sell the regular LTX tires at work, and they are just road tires, never gave them much thought. Will keep them in mind the next time I'm up for rubber. Good luck with your choice

Id take a look at Toyo open country AT ii if you want a good looking AT that is great on road and can handle offroad pretty good. My friend runs a set and loves them.

Hankook dynapro at/m is a great all around tire, not super aggresive looking but still handles snow and mud/gravel very well. Probably the best tire i have ever owned.
But for snow and mud i personally like the duratrac. Never had any issues with them.

You're just jealous because yours came with highway tires that will be one step above useless in the snow.

But yes, I'm on my second set of Michelin AT2s.

This is key. Running BFG's doesn't make you a bro. Passing up on what you want because other people don't think they're 'cool' is what makes you a bro.

    :notsure:

I actually anticipate them being completely on par with uselessness.

Supposedly, they're surprisingly good in bad weather. But, if they do suck I happen to know where I can get a deal on something better :D

Honestly who cares if they are a "bro" tire. If you want them, get them.

Interesting where I am, they are the least expensive of the off road tires I've seen (Duratrac, ST Maxx, Terra Grappler etc.)

Is the 2017 setup supposed to be different from what people are using on 2016 models?

Edit: never mind, didn't realize the current offering is noted to be a 2nd gen product.

That's bad ass but highly impractical unless they have some kind of integrated rims that only match with those certain tires. But those look awesome

Whoever told you the K02 is "quiet" on the highway is either:

    1. Comparing them to a Mud Tire
    2. A certified "Bro", bro.

My brother has them and I have taken his truck on a 10 hour road trip. They are nice tires but there are far better options for quietness on the highway, like the Michelin LTX's you mentioned above.

Ha! Also has an #EAF sticker somewhere on the truck! I see more Toyo and Nitto tires on what you describe as "Bro", along with their trasharoo hanging off the tailgate. KO2's are great AT tires, too many idiots in here try and compare them to mud tires, which is a whole different design than an AllTerrain. They do suffer in heavy mud and if you travel rock roads a lot because they don't clean out worth the crap and become slicks in heavy mud and throw rocks like crazy. I bet more than half the people who say they suck, NEVER even owned them.

Can't fault my Hankook Dynapro ATMs. Look good, run smooth and quiet, good traction in all conditions. Have lots of offroad miles and they have been flawless. Size is 265/75R16 SL and they are on my Frontier Pro-4x if it matters.

Ran the Load E KbrO2's for about 3 months before I found out I was running additional weight. "Lucked" out after 4wheel parts told me they were C rated, and after my first tire rotation they couldn't get rid of a vibration (out of round tire, hid in the back the first three months). They offered to replace them for free, so I got Duratracs in a load C because its all I could find that I liked in a 16" rim. No complaints so far other than an associated MPG decrease that was bigger than expected. Will be looking at the Toyo's when I finally decide to do 5100s on 17" rims.
