You will get close to or at 3" with 885's on an AC , at 3" I would get UCA's if I could afford them

any time you lift your truck and add things like bigger tires, you will wear on parts faster. just the nature of the beast. you have a brand new truck w/ new parts they will last you a long time, however not as long as stock. The stock parts are designed for a stock truck. OME is a great lift. never heard a bad thing about it. I went w/ billies. no complaints

So I think I'm going to go with this kit: And I'm going to go with these UCA"s: I want to know though what would be the benefit of going with the bilstein 5160"s for the rear.

That's a good kit but a uniball uca is not needed for that and a ball joint uca like LR or Camburg will do the job. Hell your alignment might even be ok after the lift....just some thoughts!

Few Last questions before I order.....

Is it worth it to go with the Darkar leafs for the rear? what are the benefits of these over the 2"? (cant seem to find the answer) just a bit worried sence I seen a post about AAL settling to much.

Should I go with the 5160's for the rear and what are the benefints of these?

Will I beable to use my stock tires with this kit? <---untill I get more money for new tires and rims

Do I need to get new break lines?

How will this kit effect my bed weight capacity from stock..(improve/weaken)?

Also read a post that the 5100's are really only good for a 1.5" and that anything more is not advised (what are your opinions?)

And last but not least what kit is better for quality and ride...OME or Billies?

Thanks for all your help so far you guys have been great and have helped me learn alot. Sorry for the questions but I have had trouble finding them and seem to get more lost with searching :frusty:

There's alot of things to look at but in my opinion it boils down to budget and use! I've been through a few different set ups and if you have the money and enjoy wheeling , you'll be better off with a good set of coilovers (Icon, fox, king) set at 2.5" in standard travel so uca's arnt an issue, an aal or full leaf pack and rear shocks.

Toytec, OME and aal's are for your budget friendly light wheeler! Higher end would be re-buildable/re-valvable coilovers, replacement leaf packs and shocks! Do it right the first time but your use may vary! Hope that helps clear a few things up! :D
