So I drove my truck today and went prob 180miles. Well went and ate came out and all my coolant wads on the ground. I couldn't find the leak so I fillled it with water and lucky me there was a Toyota dealer two miles away. Will let you all know what they say . And side note the truck never got hot.

Hopefully it wasn't a phantom rock that put a hole through it!

Sorry no pics very small but big enough to drain my dam coolant. The rock flew in right at the bottom opening of the truck like where that 4 inch or so opening is along the like between the fogs. Supriseingly sorry can't spell. But it is like a strait shot through that opening to the radiator. It's not very good odds of hitting that small gap but I guess today was my lucky.day ha ha . O well it could have been worse I guess.

Did the rock hit the plastic tank on the side of the radiator, or did it hit the aluminum core?

I'm wondering if the plastic gets brittle with age. Maybe a new radiator and some fresh coolant every five years isn't a bad idea?

Prob a ricochet from another car, that area is hard to hit. You should be happy it wasn't the water pump.

You mean you are purchasing a new radiator? I'm afraid to ask and it's none of my business but, what's the damage to the wallet?
