No pre runner trim, no mud flaps,no step ups,I do have the Deck plate though. Kings @ 0 and 5100's in rear. stock leafs. Total chaos UCA.
Does any one still fab/prep thats not unaffordable. I believe there is quality work that exists for under 8 grand??? There has to be. Iv already looked through the vendors but it’s not up to date/ and not by Area. (Located in So cal)

    Engage no more
    Dtf no more
    Solo motor no response/very busy
    Dmz is pricey

    Thinking on contacting defined??

I’m also willing to take some chances with some garage fab if someone is confident.

By the way I realize dmz is top quality and worth every cent. not that any of these other guys are not. but I know dmz is excessive for what I plan on using my truck for. Thanks for the help!

What are you trying to have done?

If someone runs/operates a fab business then you’re asking them to undervalue their skills, equipment, business for it to be “affordable.” Maybe I crease your budget to get the work done correctly?

There are plenty of garage fab guys that do work and it’s often cheaper than any business establishments. You just take a risk unless it’s a well known garage fab guy.

    I have some remote 16”s
    2.0x2.0 bumps
    Fiberwerx glass rear
And h70’s ready to be installed.

No slip joint or brake lines yet.

No tundra axel.(not planning on it)

Ya I was expecting that answer but, I don’t feel 8gs is a little amount of money. But anyways, heck charge me more if one feels they’re worth a ten thousand dollar job? I’m just trying to find someone to put my rear end together. Ya I guess I could call dmz and get awesome speedy customer service. However I’m just not trying to spend 15gs haha in all real ness. If that means I’m not getting a bed cage I guess that’s it the end of thread :/

The extra money isn’t for extra time it’s for extra knowledge. Their are a lot of great fabricators in SoCal, but you do get what you pay for. If you take a truck from the 8k guy and set it next to the truck from the 15k guy it’s generally pretty easy to tell who built which. But depending on your expectations you may be more than happy with the 5-8k guys work. Not everyone has the same expectations or is a fabrication snob. If your goal is to just get out and enjoy your truck you may be better off to save the money and get a mediocre job done, and that’s cool. It gets you on the road and enjoying your truck which is what it’s all about.

Another person you may want to reach out to is @Anthony250 not sure if he’s taking on jobs that require that much work but he uses to work for LSK and has a ton of first gen experience.

Would love to do it myself, but don't have tube capabilities at home. I usually charge far less than most mostly because Im not sure how to rate it haha. Oh and No slip joint needed.

There’s a guy in Redlands who’s a friend of my old neighbor. He did a bunch of stuff to his tundra back in the day. I don’t know if he’s even doing fab work anymore but his name is Roy. I think his business was ODR fab? Met him a couple of times- really friendly and extremely talented.

It’s been like 10 years since I’ve met him but a bunch of guys would come down and surf with us occasionally. I remember the control arms he built and they were amazing. He has since built a shop I believe? Don’t follow IG so wouldn’t know his user name there. Everyone called him old dirty Roy if I remember right.

Aye that’s right next door! I’m super stoked about finally completing the parts to the rear iv spent a lot of time thinking about a cage and how I’m gonna find someone to help, but this was for sure the best idea to ask on here.
