    Hello all from the semi-arid desert town called Hemet.

    Just purchased a nearly new 05 Tacoma PreRunner. Radiant red, 4 cyl., 5 spd. w/SR5 package. Bone stock w/37k miles.

    Original owner had seat covers on since day 1. It was nice of the young lady to be so kind to keep the seats pristine for the last 3 years!

    So far the only down side seems to be that she did not follow through on the TSB regarding the suspension.

    I may try to get it done since I am barely out of warranty. But I only carry light loads and use the truck more as a car/truck vs. truck/car.

    This site has already been very helpful...thanks for doing such a great job!

    A few additions to make me feel cool.
    Go down to Palm Springs (Toyota of the Desert) and talk to Julio and be nice and he should hook you up for the TSB. Make sure you let him know that you have a quad and that is keeps bottoming out. When I talked to him last month that is what he was saying he has to hear to do the work.

    Hmmm...Toyota of the Desert

    I just have to decide if the stiffer ride is worth the effort...but 4 new shocks and an alignment is worth driving out to the desert.
