I don't remember, but you're getting the rear end linked on this truck right?

If you don't mind, how much did SMP charge to double cab the cage?

Links might happen down the road. Since the price of new 50Ts just skyrocketed up to the cost of links.

SMP has thrown out quotes of $6-6.5k for the cage. I agree with those estimates. My actual number was less because I bought my own metal.

    Yup. That's the plan.

Aiming to bring top of the line suspension, at a very affordable cost. As well as helping the off-road community
I think he did a pretty good job on this one.

Very good job! Now you just gotta take time and plan out how to connect the engine cage to the cab cage to the bed cage.

Sorry to hear about the frame Jim. That's why I've always been super sketched out about how Engage mounts their bump stops.

Im sure they can plate it up and you'll be back on the road in no time!

Let's make something clear before this gets ugly:

My frame breaking is wear and tear damage, not something Engage could have foreseen when they installed the rear LT. I chose to put two tires past the notched bumps. I also chose to beat on that setup for hundreds of off road miles without any extra frame support. That is why this broke.

I am still very happy with Engage and their work on my truck.

Tuned the truck a bit with Lembowski's help. I felt in control about 10 mph faster than last time. I need more work but just tweaking the bypass valves made a noticeable difference.

Ah, Had you noticed any cracks from that spot before?

How was the valving difference after the cage? I've heard it completely changes the valving you need.

Nope. It happened this weekend. It was a little bouncy because of the cage, but I really pushed the truck hard this run.

My valving has been the same this whole time. I just played with the bypass valves to see if it made a difference.

Front we closed both compression and opened up the rebound.

Rear we closed the top valve and left 9 threads on the mid valve. Rebound was wide open.

On the back stretch of trail by Primm where I took you, I gained 10mph. I felt comfortable and in control at 55 mph.
