Sub'd! Its looking nice so far OP, it didn't look near as bad with the stock tires in the first pics as I'd imagined a LT truck to look, now this has gotten me back on considering LT, :(

Some pics from Lucerne this weekend.

    Base Camp

On Sunday I took the 85+ mile route that Mike gave me. This was about half way thru.

Waypoint 22 starts the hills... got thru the first few then had to find a way around WP 24 because I couldn't get up the hill comfortably... I was solo and didn't want to get stranded.

Noticed that I am rubbing on my rear bypasses on both sides. I am going to need to put my spacers on the rear now.

^nice truck... are there tabs on the front glass for the plastic toyota piece that goes under headlight?

I know some of these engage kits have bump steer in them, do you have any video's of the truck hitting hard terrain?

    Love the tires :)

Engage kits have some bump-in because of how low the LCA uniball adapter drops your LCA attachment point.

I have a 0.5" bump steer spacer on mine to correct that.

You'd think they'd start including that spacer on all their kits if it's a known problem:cool:

Still have to calculate if mine needs one...

I've talked to Hass about it and he said he incorporates the bump steer correction in their fabricated spindles but does not install or provide bump steer spacers or shims because he doesnt think they are as reliable.

There is a center tab under the Headlights. Then I just zip tied the rest. It stayed put all run.

Just eyeballing my geometry I'm pretty sure I have some bump spacers in my future.

Interesting, why wouldn't he fix the problem by not dropping the LCA point? For the guys who can't run the spindles (four-by), they need a better option besides shims that apparently aren't the best fix. But what do I know... I fix people for a living, not fabricate suspension :)

A spacer made of proper material (structurally engineered/chosen) would work fine. Definitely safer then having bump-steer IMO.

Engage's biggest difference from TC and Camburg is Engage puts its uniball in the LCA itself whilst TC and Camburg put the uniball in the adapter, and mounts the adapter to the spindle and LCA.

The Engage adapter double sheers the uniball in the LCA, which drops the mounting point a bit lower. The mount to the spindle is on the top sheer.

Busy weekend. Bought two more Countersteer Xs for spares. Dude came with some new shorter center caps that look way better.

I went up to KR Fab and got some bits and pieces chopped off so I have full clearance of my 35's now.

Ken also fab'd up a quick and dirty tire carrier for my spare. Welded up a tab for my soon to be dust light. No pics yet.

And i put my rear spacers in.
