I have a 2013 2.7 4x4 regular cab manual. I was having an e- brake that was getting stuck after 24hrs parked, and brought it into a reputable shop. They changed out the rear brakes and wheel cylinders which fixed the original issue. Since then I’ve had a soft brake pedal. The shop has had 3 techs redo the work, replaced the abs module, master cylinder, electronically bled everything multiple times, isolated the front and rear brakes without change, verified no leaks in any part of the system. I replaced the front pads and rotors last year without any issues.

They’ve been very professional and are refunding the work, however that still leaves me with a brake pedal that hits the floor, though does bring the truck to a stop. From what they’ve checked, I’m not sure where to begin on what to check that would cause the problem, other than to start replacing parts of the system that they have not. Any suggestions on other things to check would be much appreciated.

Since you didn’t mention it. Did they recheck the rear shoe adjustment?

How far out do you have to pull the parking brake holder, to get it to hold on a slight incline? How many clicks. Mine only takes about 3 clicks since I replaced my rear shoes and adjusted everything.
If you have to pull it out very far, it might be an indication that the rear brakes need to be adjusted out a bit more.

It doesn’t require pulling the parking brake out far to hold, much less than previously. Multiple techs readjusted the rear shoes.

On all four corners (calipers and rear wheel cylinders), are the bleeders above the brake lines?
