    Awesome solution, and nicely finished.
Do you have a price already?

    Thanks

Let me ask a quick question. If you want to remove the cross beams is it as simple as just removing the nut at the end and sliding the cross beam out?

Heck yea. Isn't that cool?! That makes it a great solution for roll up cover and a good solution even if you have a tri-fold cover.

The price will be revealed in the coming week. We plan to offer the first batch at a crazy discount to help kick off this product. So if you are interested in getting one, stay tuned.

Yeah that's great. I was thinking more along the lines of when you need to carry anything big. Or keep the mounts there and only sliding the cross bars in when needed. :D You should put some real weight on there, take/post up some pictures and report back to us all to see how it holds up.

We've already done tons of testing, finite analysis and simulations in the CAD package we use for designs. We're absolutely confident in a 250lb load rating per pair. We're obviously going to push this to the max and start loading it up, then try our hardest to break it...

They most certainly will support a RTT. We're trying to get a good day to throw the tent up there and snap some pictures to show.

the load rating seems kind of low at 250lbs per pair though. that's hardly enough for two adults resting above. i'll keep an eye on this though. its exactly what i was looking for to go above my stock tonneau cover on my '16. also, any updates on price?

It is rated for 250lbs whole the truck is moving, 500lbs stationary.

Example is while driving down the road, nothing more than 250lbs because when you're making turns, the weight grows quickly do to g force. But when you're parked and want to throw an RTT on it, it will easily support 500lbs (a tent and 2 adults). An empty RTT doesn't weigh 250lbs so it can easily stay up there while driving around.

I didn't realize you needed dimensions. I'm sure you have everything now but do you need dimensions for a tonneau soft tri fold?

Sure. Just need total width of cover and height from bed cap to top of cover.

Well, we're trying to get at least 5 people to order them before we actually start stocking and selling them.

Have you tried these with a Bakflip G2 hard trifold? Obviously it wouldn't be able to flip open entirely and from the looks of it I'd need to modify the covers mount rails since they cover the full length of the bed rail. I'd probably be ok with doing that to keep the dry storage and gain the extra from the bed rack.
