One more thing, looking at your original pics, there is ANOTHER error on the TSB. The date in the Rev Notice for Rev 2 says November 12th while the top of all the pages say July. Just pointing out all the errors that have occurred in these TSBs should push a reasonable dealer over the edge to side with the customer.

With this late rev date, they might have revised TSB-0125-18 to maybe add the 04B10, 04B11, and 04A70 ECUs? @Ruggybuggy , do you have any info here?

I just had a friend pull 0058-18 Rev2 and it looks like they pulled the manual ecus off of it all together.
    0125-18 shows 04b12 still.....

    Just an update for me.

On Saturday, I was dinking around with the steering wheel badge and the airbag, so I disconnected both terminals on the battery for over an hour. This did a hard reset on most everything that had a memory. I noticed a slight change in the motor, similar to what I felt immediately after loading the update. Nothing as dramatic as the change between the stock tune and the update.

From this on my Taco, I have to say that the ECU learning is almost negligible compared to the update?

How is this compared to the ovtune?

Not sure I want to drop that much for something that doesnt do much if anything

There are posts about that earlier in this thread. Just search for OVT.

I've run both the TSB and many versions of OVtune. There is definitely a difference, but there's no way I'm going to convince you (since you'll assume that I'm biased). Check out the OVtune review thread.
The one thing that I would avoid is taking advice from those who don't run the tune. They know not of what they speak.

TSB first, then if you want more get OVtune.

I'd like better tq/hp curve and the stumble between 1st to 2nd be gone.

Other than that I'm happy with my 6spd

I see you have an '18 M/T - There's a possibility you already have the new calibration (depends on build date). Do you have any way of reading your ECM with a scan tool?

Old '18 calibration is 04A70 IIRC, new one (post TSB) is 04A71.

Carista has a new function to read the ECU data, but it came back blank when I tried it a couple months ago. They may have updated that since?

    OBD Fusion will tell you.

I picked up a vcxnano from Amazon and wanted to try to get the calibration updated per this thread. I used Allscanner manager and the calibration update wizard...the calibration got to about 10% and then said it could not be updated and asked me what I wanted to do, so I said retry.

    I followed the directions.
I have the hood open and a trickle charger on it the battery, reading 12.7 v
I have my laptop plugged in
I have the vxcnano plugged in the usb
I'm not sure what I could have done wrong...Thanks for your fast reply..I will read through what you posted.

Sorry to hear that. I believe you are the first peron to post about that particular adapter?

I could be wrong, but I do not believe anyone has posted a successful flash with anything but a Tactrix adapter?
