I stalled doing it for a long time since I was new to doing stuff like this but I followed this write-up and it was super easy to do by myself.

3/8'' ID x 5/8'' OD line from HD worked well for me. It came in a section of 6 or 8 feet I think, and I initially shortened it down by maybe two feet, then took another foot or so off today.

No, I bought a 6' section, then cut maybe a foot or so off when I first did it, then took off maybe another foot today. Have probably a 4' section on the truck right now, with probably 6'' of it being slack by the axle.

I believe I got 6' of 3/8'' ID (inside diameter) by 5/8'' OD (outside diameter) from Homer Depot.

The write-up I followed used the 3/8'' by 5/8'', while yours has 1/4''. So yours has a larger inside diameter. The outside diameter doesn't really matter but I found the 3/8'' ID worked well for the breather to fit snugly into.

I did union (at diff) with hose clamp, ran it up to under the bed, along the frame, then drilled into the driver's side (closeable) bed cubby. Put breather on at the end with a hose clamp, then used a ziptie on the "outside" of the bed cubby to keep the hose from shifting/sliding further into the cubby as an added measure. Make sure to leave a little slack of hose closer to the axle for axle movement.

Good luck buddy  It's really not that hard...especially if I figured it out

Made an updated Photoshop build concept today, since I've lately been thinking about getting some 285 MTR's and gunmetal grey SCS F-5's after my next set of tires (255 KM2's) wear out. I think it looks pretty cool.

Got my TRD wheel locks on for the spare, so I can actually use my spare now if needed :anonymous:

I also took the spare tire cover off for now, since it is a huge pain in the ass to get tight enough to not move around and an even bigger pain in the ass to take off. I did use some tire shine and cleaned up the spare so it doesn't look so bad though.

It's just a used General Grabber HTS but it's a full size to match my KM2's.

I will probably sell the 265's and HTS in a year or so to put on the 255's :)

Maintenance is always super fun

Maintenance isn't fun when your grease gun runs dry, you pull it apart, clean it, put new grease tube in it and as you're putting it together....it explodes all over you. I wasn't happy \:

You have to many tires lol! I just want LT255/85r16s someday

My spare used to be the 265/70 Rugged Trail, but I sold it and picked up a used 265/75 General Grabber HTS and put my OEM spare steelie on it for cheap.

I also am trying to sell my brother's 265/70 Rugged Trail spare.
