Cant you turn the beep off my pioneer does the same and i can turn it off.

 

I bought the pioneer DEH p3000ib last night, and I can and have turned the beep off.

Per Instruction manual.

Turn off unit.
press and hold multi control until "closk set" appears.
scroll to :"Warning tone"
selct
then set to "off"

I have the same head unit...I believe you can't turn it off..annoying I know, but it's a great HU
