WOW...Mall crawling in Canada is dangerous. Shopping must be a contact sport like hockey.

Seriously though, that's a pretty well used and abused skid. What type of use caused this damage?

There's a lot debate on the quality/merit of the stock Pro skid. Is this from full force slams on rocks, slight brushings over rocks, or did you get hung up on a fern? Very interested to know what my skid can take, without necessarily testing that limit myself.

    Thanks!

I was doing medium type of trails which here require 33-35" tires apparently... and I was on my 30" P-rated tires, did a lot of rock sliding, some trails bent my steel sliders even, so you get the idea of how hard I pushed this skid along with pelfrey aluminum tranny skid.

There are few areas where I would suggest to reinforce it if you plan to ever slide on it, but I will say that 99% of people here don't need anything else but that kind of a skid plate, plus it actually looks good unlike anything else offered on the market (CBI new skids are looking good too actually). I am thinking on purchasing the same skid again and welding reinforcement brackets.

The only negative about is that aluminum is super hard to bend back:
I dropped another truck on the skid - nothing...
I dropped my truck while it was on a lift on the skid - barely bent back...

    tl;dr great skid, buy it!

P.S. @KBOX I haven't gotten any PMs at all, so it went to the next person in line.
