Thinking $7,500 for everything. Open to offers. Maybe trades. There is 40+ photos in "my albums" here on TW to view (frame, motor, interior, etc). Let me know if there is any questions.

    1996 Toyota Tacoma
    2.7L motor (3RZ-FE 4cyl)
    4x4 / manual locking hubs
    5 speed manual trans
    4.10 axle gears
Off-road Package (bucket seats, center console & tachometer)
    Regular/Standard Cab w/6ft box
Cardinal Red Exterior / Oak Tan Interior
    216,000 miles

Selling to fund an ongoing Land Cruiser project. I have a detailed log of everything done to this truck/all service/what parts/oils/etc (everything but fuel stops) from 92,000 to its current 216,000 miles that I will turn over to the next owner. This truck is well sorted and mechanically sound. If I had the time and permission from my better half I would have no problems jumping into and driving cross country tomorrow!

It’s not a show truck or trailer queen, but it has certainly not been abused or wheeled hard either. It has the normal nicks, chips and dings (worst under drivers door because I didn't install sliders) for a 21 year old truck and the clear coat is coming off tops of doors and especially the to of the topper (was a New Mexico truck before coming to DE and then we moved it to Philly for 4 years and last year to NJ). The interior is in pretty good shape, except one tear in the drivers seat (I use a seat cover now). Everything works as it should, except the e-brake, which barely holds so I always leave it in gear. AC blows cold. All glass intact. Doesn’t leak. Frame is solid and I’ve gone the extra mile to make sure its been strengthened and protected. Body isn’t rusted out like so many of these Tacoma’s in the northeast. It’s a great truck and I really wish I could keep it, but I don’t daily drive it, it doesn’t work for family trips anymore (now that we have a daughter, before her we slept in the back on weekends), and I have other projects I would like to move the funds over to.

Dam, just talking with my son this evening about saving up his money and we would go to where needed to get an old taco. This one would fit the bill, but he has a few years before he can go for his license let alone start working to save. So if you have it in a few years, we would be interested.

If this is still for sale, please drop me an email at andrew.rupiper@drake.edu. I am very interested and have been looking for some time. I would need to fly in and drive it back to Iowa or arrange shipment.
