Phil from TTORA recommended that I skip out on the heatsink and go with a radiator style/fan... He claims they are better (which makes sense) any ideas for whats best for the PS system? Trying to keep it under $220... Already dropping $1,500 on the steering.

There was 4. Wyatts Beast, A blue one BCTacoma I think, Jordans old one (SilverSeven), and then 06 silverback. As far as seeing the trails, Wyatt and BC take the win, Jordans old truck just got wheeled by its new owner the other week, and 06 Silverback does a lot of talking about wheeling.

They work really well on Trophy trucks so I'm sure they will do just fine on our trucks.

on the hunt for a 85 solid axle! buddy will flip it like he already did his.

also looking at the tg plates for the steering box, as opposed to the kits. buddy has a cnc machine and all sorts of shit, but considering manhours the kit might just be worth it. also considering tg box and axles just for the warranty. so done with ifs. went wheeling and it just rubbed and pissed me off and ugh.

SA is so far superior it's stupid. You will be happy. Just buy the kit, a CNC takes many hours like you said and probably ends up being similar cost.

When you say tg axles, you mean the shafts, right?

alove's build got me thinking about what I want to do with the SAS route. I blame him. :D

Thought I might start to collect parts soon. I've been wanting to go D60/14B but if I keep it a DD for I don't know how long, I think I might stick with a D44 and not upgrade to a D60 and do anything too crazy/stupid with it until I have another Taco for a DD.

What's a good rear axle to match to the D44? Or can I just use what I have? (Which would be nice since it would already be geared/locked.) Or should I go with a Toyota front axle? Which front axle options have 5.29s available?
