    So, who’s seen it?
    Thoughts?
    Comments?
So THATS how he was named Han Solo?
Who was the Darth Maul character at the end?
As a pretty hardcore Star Wars fan.... I kinda liked it.

I might be alone here, but the only Stars Wars movies I've seen are the first three. I'm not hating on the new ones. I've just never found the time to see

You gave Disney money for another SW movie after the abomination that was Last Jedi?

Nah you’re not alone. Just wondering others thoughts on this movie. Trying to understand the timeline of this compared to where it leads into the first Star Wars. Hmmmm

Oh trust me the last Jedi absolutely crushed my heart and soul, we don’t talk about that one. I personally liked rogue one and how it led right into A New Hope. Just saw solo, probably need to see it a few more times to fully understand things.

Thought the action scenes were alright. Nothing that really wowed me outa my seat tho. Too much Disney sass and humor in Landos robot

Understand the timeline? That's pretty easy. On Oct 30, 2012 Disney bought the right to Star Wars. From that point forward Star Wars became another TV Disney show.

    Workin' on it....
Hopefully will go check out Solo this weekend. Force Awakens was alright, Last Jedi was disappointing in so many ways. I hope they get back on track with Episode IX.

ok so hopefully someone can help me understand...i've watched almost all the Star Wars movies except the last 2 that came out recently....i do realize the whole story is scattered throughout the last couple decades ( in real life) but what i can't come to understand is all the little stories, i got the main storyline ( Darth,Leia, Luke, and all that) but in Rogue One i literally was so lost i turned it off and watched something else, i seriously have no idea who the main character was or her purpose for the main storyline...i really want to like all the movies and for the cinematic adventures they are i do really like them but damnit i can not keep it all together enough to make sense to me....I've watched the first 3 growing up a good bit of times and have an understanding of whats going on, but the last 4-5 or however many there is ( i've seriously lost count) i can't keep up with the all the characters, i've even spent whole weekends trying to watch them and try to keep up but to me its impossible.. anyway if you can think of a way to help me understand it'd be cool...i do know there's an order so i can watch them in order but i don't know the order...hell some movies aren't numbered so how can you know

Not guna deny that. I was just trying to think of approx how many years this was going on before Han meets Luke. Cuz this movie doesn’t lead right into the old Star Wars series like rogue one does

Saw it yesterday, was pretty good

Felt less like a Star Wars movie, and more like an Indiana Jones type movie

i have a buddy that literally his entire house is littered with star wars stuff and he tried to marathon watch them with me...day 2 he gave up and went home because either i'm real dumb or i just like shit that blows up and cant comprehend a complex story line that adds and takes away characters and when you ask " who the hell is that guy" and they look at you like you're the dumbass when you don't know why Darth Maul is so important ( i just thought he was cool and was different than anyone else) , well count me out man because i less complicated movies that have just as much entertainment value like Monster Inc.

Alright so trying to keep it simple in the Star Wars universe the movie timeline goes
    1. Phantom Menace
    2. Attack of the clones
    3. Revenge of the Sith
    4. Solo
    5. Rogue One
    6. A New Hope
    7. Empire Strikes Back
    8. Return of the Jedi
    9. Force Awakens
    10. Last Jedi

Yes. It's a good movie on its own. While yes it has importance to the cannon, it's by far the best of the new movies. It just explains what happens in the days before A New Hope. The characters are all hero's to the resistance, who they are isn't so important other than Mads Mikkelsens character was in charge of building the death star, the lead character is his daughter. Darth Vader is a bad as. He has the best scene in any star wars movie.
