SOLVED: 2020 Head Unit Application Download Error Message

    For some reason while I was going through the settings on my head unit, I hit the button for application update.

    The problem is now about every 2 minutes I get this popup on my screen telling me that there is an "Application download error. Please try again later". I can't figure out how to get rid of the damn thing. I could care less at this point about downloading anything to the head unit, but now I get this pain in the ass popup all the time.

    When I originally installed the Toyota app in my phone, it asked me if I wanted to send info back to Toyota and I opted no at the time. So, I don't believe that I have any connectivity to them at this point for things like apps. Any insight on how to eliminate this would be awesome. Thanks!

    Edit: Big thanks to @Notorius_JDD for the fix!
    It was just under Settings > General > Delete Personal Data
    Once you reset that, the error message pop-ups stop coming!

    One question, I have the same issue. Do I go to setting on the entune app, tacoma app, or directly on the car stereo. Because in none do I get those options.

    Deleting Personal Data works and updates the Entune software however when you re-sync your phone the error message comes back. Spoke with Toyota and they informed me I had to perform the delete process twice.
    Issue is the lack of hard drive space to install the software on the radio systems. Still having the same error message after syncing my phone.

    Thought it worked but nope. I keep getting this error. I get more than they though. I can’t use my navigation. And entune sucks!! It tells me to download Toyota app which I already have and use

    I do not see an explicit answer to this question … and neither Entune or the smartphone app have a selection named “Settings”

    Complete, explicit instructions, please.

    On my Display I would
    ->Press MENU->SETUP->GENERAL->SETTINGS->DELETE PERSONAL INFO

    My fiancé has 2019 trd sport. How do I know when to update the radio.
    I bought for her from a dealer,
    When we took time we noticed that the previous owner had a few pics of naked women. We brought back to the dealer. Ware he offered free oil changes, the car came with free oil changed for life. So he upgraded it to synthetic oil changes for life.
    Not cool could of caused domestic issues lol

    I went to: Menu>>>Setup>>>General tab is already highlighted>>>Press Down arrows on right side of screen 2x>>>>>Delete Personal Data

    This tip saved my sanity as the error message was ticking me off. Thanks to those who posted instructions/confirmation that this works.

    I had to pair my phone again but it was well worth it to get rid of that nag screen.
