Hmmm let me look at diagram again. I'm told it works. I personally like the The DRLs. I haven't messed with mine.

Okay fellas cut the cord, and pulled out the fuse from under the hood. Still have DTRL. However I never unplugged my battery.

The cord I cut was the green and white one, next to the black and white (ground in assuming). Why are they still on???

Should I have disconnected my battery first?

@muddog67 - I pulled the 7.5 red fuse under my hood for DRL.

The wire I cut was right next two the white with a black runner (the ground I assume).

I can't take pics because I already sealed it back up and got
To head to work. Will dissemble and take pics tomorrow. My HID's are from headlight revolution (Starr HID's) they plug directly in my OEM bulb reciever and use a ballast to power them. But I don't think they are the problem.

Well the TSB on it says pin 2. that would be white and black. Have you tried pulling the drl relay?

What's the drl relay? If you mean the black box that the wiring goes harness was plugged into?

I tried starting the car without that plugged into the wiring harness. And headlights had no power.

Should I cut the white cord with black runner then? I really don't want to be cutting too much more. Lol

@muddog67 - I did read what you sent and people cut the white and green and dtrl went off. However I did this and it didn't work.

I really can't afford to go to dealer and have them do this. What do I need to do for my HID's not on because of my dtrl?

Spices wires back together. Walk away from it and do some more research. I don't know what to tell you cutting that one white and green wire should have fixed your problem. When I have time this weekend I'll try to do some research for you I don't know what to tell you. it should have worked

@muddog67 - I appreciate it. Will it hurt if I just tape off the two cut wires?

When you say lights still come on. Are you talking about the factory headlights or have you wired up the new lights already? Also there is a difference between non DRL wiring and DRL wiring. Non DRL head lights are ground switched. Are you sure you got the right kind.
