Has anyone experienced this? I've checked both 10A and the single 15A fuses and tried swapping in spares. I've looked at the bulbs, both of which appear not to be burnt out. My next step is to start tracing with a multimeter, I just haven't had time yet. I guess it could be the relay also.

    Any other tips?

Nope. I haven't done anything other than put gas in it and new tires for years. It has about 125k KM's for reference.

Did you shake the bulbs to see if the filaments were broken off at one end or the other? I had a "new" bulb fail on me that way in an older vehicle. Lowbeam was strobing on and off as it would make and brake contact with potholes and vibration. But visually it looked fine so I was to the point of opening up and tracing the factory wire harness looking for signs of damage.

Do all other lights(park, marker, fog, high beam, dash lights) work correctly? Check for voltage at the low beam bulb socket.

I pulled the bulbs and swapped for fun. I can try pulling one and giving a shake. I do need to check for voltage yet and hope to have time today (leaving on a camping trip so bit hectic packing while wfh, hah).

All other lights work fine, I'm currently using the fog lights as low beams.

Maybe @caribe makaira can solve yet another electrical mystery :)

I would say to check your fuses with a meter instead of visually, but you said you swapped them out so that rules out a blown fuse looking like it's ok.

Until you do that, all is guess work.

So I'll guess the bulbs are toast. :D

Test voltage at fuses and connectors, then fuses and bulbs...

Well there is 12v at the 15amp fuse, but nothing at the bulbs or the 10amp fuses. So I suppose it's the relay. How do you get these relays out? I was thinking of swapping two around to double check.

There is also continuity across the bulbs.

There is a tool, but you can use a flat tip screwdriver. Battery terminals, BEFORE...or :redxfall:

Can't I just pull the 15amp fuse before the relay? I don't see any reason to disconnect battery if I do that.

Do you put the flat tip in a slot to unlock them, or just to pry up and pop them out?

OK fixed. Thinking I forgot to turn the lights to on when I checked the 10amp fuses, whoops. Anyways swapped the high and low relays (had to pry up on them with a screwdriver) and that did nothing. Then realized that the low beams are the one in the big glow bulbs, had them confused with the high beams. Anyways pulled the bulbs and notices pulling them they flickered, so somehow they both corroded at the same time and weren't connecting to the housing. So after turning them in and out a few times they are grounding again and working fine. No new parts needed!
