Where the hell is the kitchen sink?
Damn, you've got everything there one could possibly need for an amazing weekend. Plus, the truck is freakin' sweet and clean. Very nice!!! I loved how everything was organized and the switches for lights and power outlet (cigarette ones). You're missing a rack above the camper shell! Just Kidding. Love the tires! They really make the truck stand out a lot more. A+ in my book.

Hey Wolf thanks for the feedback on the topper.

Blackhawke88 - do you have some more info about those nor cal or pismo meetings?

A lot of people have been asking me for more info about the built of the platform so I went ahead and took some pictures today now I am back from a 5 day work trip to Kentucky.

I pretty much built a frame with 2x2 and 2x4's with a 1/2 piece of plywood on top. The frame is on one side sitting on the edge in the bed and on the wheel well, the other side is supported by a 2x4 frame:
    built3_96fd7af608db362086a85ebf106b952333ba5b39.jpg

    built1_4c0e14cd80f5076e22b6d69102c79905d7c74d2b.jpg

The smaller frame that holds the storage box is a tight fit between the big one and the other side of the bed and they are both bolted together:

    built2_f035194e808a9571f7665d6a37138f859781aa82.jpg

The storage box is sitting on top and also bolted down. This way when I want to go camping with two people I can just remove the box and put a piece of carpet plywood instead. I still have to built the part that will fill up the open space to sleep a second person.
    built6_16e3ecc25109cd088524f088709bbb335f9f183a.jpg

The back part of the left platform is enclosed with a lid that opens up. I used a strap with a carabiner so when I open it I can clip it to the cargo net:

If you guys have any questions let me know.

I also installed some LED light strips that are hooked up to my switches.

On top of the windoor frame:
    LED1_bfc03fce0d3de6239df637bb5b520c2f13380311.jpg

Underneath the platform so I can find things at night:
    LED2_67f06606917db0190f273ac5ddce10564add8018.jpg

The cheapest I found them was on ebay. 120cm for $9.19 with free shipping:
    LED3_ea81aaa90cd5dcb136894c85ace7c50512d6a39e.jpg

Shipping took a while since they are shipped from Hong Kong but for that price I didn't mind waiting for about two weeks. Let's hope they last for a while :)

    Thanks Briangp!

I also installed the security fix for my tailgate today. I found it at Pep Boys and it came in a pack of 2 clamps so I did each side:
    Security1_7e43efb9e34cd2c3c62b6a97dca25c65178b2274.jpg

    And with the "key" removed:
    Security2_89b5b6f5190ded28889d814cbfaf40efebc8c633.jpg

I didn't cut off the extra length of the clamp so when somebody would try to take them off with pliers they would need a long time to get it off.

Then I also installed an inverter I had laying around that is hooked up to my 2nd battery so I don't need to run the engine to have a working outlet in the back:

Very Impressive! Good job on your camping setup. Your camper setup reminds me of Chris's bajataco. Thanks for sharing your quality craftsmanship with us.

Very nice set up! What kind of shell is that? I'm trying to get one for my truck too! If you're interested go to the regional section then go to northern California and look up PRS mod day and camping trip. It's just a bunch of us TW members together helping each other out with mods they have or to just meet one another it's pretty fun!

Jacob Wood - It's a Leer 100R with Windoors and roof rails. I will definitely check out the regional section. Getting together with TW members in the area sounds great! Thanks for the info!
