Kinda off topic, but on the same lines of damaging other people vehicles. I played drums for about 2/3 of my life since I was a child. I played in a closed garage but that doesn't make it completely sound proof. Neighbor at the end of the street (I think he was a retired cop too) got pissed one day from the noise and shot my dads car window out on the driveway with a BB gun. Kids, adults, even people with authority will use any excuse to make your day suck.

Take a puff, it's only hate and paint. Haters gonna hate... and Karma!

Looks kinda like Granny scratched it with a purse that had some metal hardware.

If I ever caught someone doing it to another vehicle, I'd hold them at gunpoint until the cops got there. If I caught them doing it to mine, I'd shoot them. And they will have died for a really stupid reason, but that's people for you.

Sucks, sorry to hear that. Good call on giving your truck a quick once over whenever you park it somewhere before leaving. I do the same thing. I used to have a GTI that got a few door dings, and ever since then I take a few seconds to check my truck after I've parked it somewhere just in case

Our trucks are door ding magnets. I got one in my left fender from a silver lexus I won't forget next time I see it. I also got this one that they must have tried their hardest to nail me but the handle caught it.

This guy is out $500. If the guy had broken into his house and stole $500 and the OP caught him in the act and shot him, are you gonna feel sorry for him? Not me. This type of person angers me as much as any thief, because he doesn't even benefit from the money he is costing the OP. Enough is enough, I'm tired of all the dirtbags in our society.

Could be a case of mistaken identity.

My brother's car was intentionally rammed by someone in an Expedition, just because the driver was told a white car had bumped into his SUV and my bro's car was the only white car in the parking lot.

One time I went to a taco shop and saw a large crowd outside. As I walk inside I ask what happened, and someone said there was a fight. After ordering and waiting for my food, I hear a commotion outside and see a car speeding away. I find the driver side mirror to my car as well as the car next to mine have been kicked off. Apparently the person who did this thought my car and the other car belonged to the people he fought with outside the taco shop a few minutes before I arrived.

You can take all the precautions you want but damn it just seems there's always douchebags around to mess things up.

honestly, you can touch it up using paint and wet sanding it, but it won't look perfect, might be around 80% and will take some elbow grease.

In 2003, I bought a new Nissan Xterra. Only drove it on weekends, in 04 some scumbag keyed the drivers side front to back.

Complete repaint drivers side: 2k minus the $500 deductible.

Last October just before Halloween, I had a drive by bb gun attack. Damage to driver door, pass door & broken vent window & rear quarter, I would have lost my mind if it was the Tacoma!

People Suck, at least the kinds who do senseless vandalism.

Yes, I asked for it. Is the only Limited quicksand color that I have seen in the area so far.
