If anyone is interested in Sound Deadening their Tacoma? My brother did an awesome job doing my truck and I highly recommend him. He also details cars.

Your brother did a nice job. It appears he's taking the time to do things as if he were doing his own truck. If that is what he will do for others he's worth every penny he charges! I don't need to tell anyone how difficult it can be to find someone to be conscientious or pay attention to details.

For what it's worth, someone who values their Tacoma for driving comfort as much as what it can do off road would like this mod. I used Dynamat and for me the sound deadening has been one of the best mods I've done. I admit I'm not a big off roader and when I do venture out I'm careful about beating my truck up. I'm definitely not interested is treading water in my truck.

The sound deadening behind the headliner and the floor made a big difference. Those were the areas that were done first. I actually paid the shop that rebuilt my truck on a new frame, after an accident, to do those areas and I drove the truck for a while when I first got it back. I then pulled the rear seat because the area between the rear seat and the bed had not been done. When I did that area it made another big difference as far as road noise in the cabin. Then I did the doors and damn if that didn't make another huge difference all over again.

It took him two days.. I did the doors and quit. Mind you I do all of the work in my truck and I messed up many times before I get it right.

Maybe it'd be worthwhile to put the top few most common quote configurations in the top post? I'm potentially interested as well.
