sound in a 09

    there is a weird sound that i am not concered about, but it sounds funny. i am just wondering what it is or if any one else hears it. it sounds like a light compow all most like powerstering or something when i first take off when i start itup. i dunno but it is funny

    I also have an 09 prerunner and when I crank up and put it in D, there is also a strange like sound but I am not really concerned either. If there is a large crash or something I will post.

    What is compow?

    Mine doesn't make a compow noise but it does go "Moooo-eh-ya"

    In all seriousness, when I back out of my garage and turn the wheel to 1 side I do hear a noise.

    It sounds like someone holding a chopstick end firm against a hard table and pulling up and letting go so it goes booooing.

    This truck does make a lot of little noises. My wifes sequoia does too.

    +1. I believe it is the ABS calibrating itsself.
