I keep seeing all this great gear for my Taco and it's always a US vendor. Anybody know where I can shop for things like rock sliders, overland racks, awnings etc. near central Canada. I'm close (400km) to Winnipeg but would not be opposed to travelling further.

One province over is Krave Automotive located out of Calgary. They are 4x4 shop, so if you also need someone to do an install, it could be a one shop stop. They get customers from all across Canada and are some great people to work with.

Their website doesn't show everything they can bring in though, so you'll have to give them a call. I had them to bring in a rear bumper for me as part of a larger pallet order; saved a few Canadian pesos in shipping this way and didn't have to deal with customs. If there's a closer 4x4 shop to you, perhaps you could check if they could do likewise.

In the end though, we still get screwed over by our poor exchange rate so we all feel your pain. :annoyed: Buy once, cry once as they say.

    Good luck! :canada:
