I had a family of opossums craw down into the belly pan of a d11 dozer. Was changing and oil pump in August and couldn’t figure out what the smell was. Dropped the pan and there they be. Guessing they crawled in for the heat and got stuck.

brake pad slap ? is it at change of direction?

I just ignore most noises if I cant pinpoint em........:anonymous:

Had a noise dissapear after the ring gear got replaced. was a slight click in the driveline / rear at takeoff, no matter what speed takeoff. now it gone. I though maybe a joint was going bad, maybe this was a warning sign of imminent failure :anonymous: it started about when I put the leafs on, I credited it to the leafs. :notsure:

Wife drives one of those little Ford crossover SUV-ish deals... there's a cold air intake on the air dam that's juuust big enough for a squirrel to cram into if he jumps when you hit him. That made for a fun little extraction project a week later.

I only drive mine two to three times a week. The wife only goes into the office twice a week and I’m in the lease program at bubba makin wheels. The faster I put miles on the lease, the faster I get a new one (every four months or so).

I have recently heard of the lease program at Bubba, dude was saying he has some really tight rules to follow, or else..........

Yeah you gotta keep it clean - or at least turn it in clean. But the best part is that my wife has wrecked three, which is why she doesn’t drive my truck. I actually hit a deer at 6am one day and was in a brand new car by noon that day. Makes things really easy.
