just to echo what everyone else said. Besides the hot air under the fridge you have to consider how much dust/dirt/dog hair all get trapped under there. You’d essentially be blowing the crap out into the open. Probably not super healthy to be inhaling.

Do I put lime on it and bury it? Or do I let the vultures keep eating it?

Old lady next door is complaining about the smell(we can’t smell it at our house). I bought some lime on the way home with the plans of burying it but then I saw how the vultures have already eaten half of it.

The plan is to route it under a cabinet. The first quote we got, the guy was going to do that but he wanted $7000 to do everything. The second quote we got, he only charged $2600 to replace everything but didn't add the vent. Should have done that at the same time really. :D

Having 3 dogs and a cat, what's under the fridge is the least of our worries. It really doesn't blow hard enough for that to happen anyways. I think a few reasons, the AC unit it way too big for the house, it's a 3.5 ton unit for only 1500sqft. Several HVAC people have told us this also. But as long as it still works, I'm not replacing it.
Also the PO didn't install the correct size returns for that unit. I have 2 returns that are 8x24 which are too small, I'm assuming dating back to when the house was built in 1957. Once again, not trying to reinvent the wheel until I need to replace the unit.

What I've heard it summarized as it wakes up and squeezes more torque and hp not night and day gains like the 3rd gens but enough to help with over sized tires and cai
