This is what happens when you spill 16 oz of Irish cream flavored coffee on your passenger seat....fml. Think it will be ok to hose down the seat? Just want to make sure the foam will dry back out.IMG_20180220_173519421.jpg

Yeah that sucks my daughter did that a while back with chocolate milk!!!
I wouldn’t not risk messing up the air bag sensors and stuff inside of the seat. Wipe it off with a mild detergent or get you a can of carpet cleaner for autos like the blue coral stuff from advanced.

Well, used a bucket of warm soapy water. Dumping a little at a time just to the affected areas. Rinsed until the water running out was clean. Squeezed out as much as possible with towels. Brought it inside the house to dry out. Now I will wait and see if I wrecked anything, also pulled all the trim pieces and got under the carpet with a damp rag. Inside the smell is gone, with as much as I spilled the foam was soaked with coffee, had to get aggressive with it.

You can also take out both seats and once dry scothguard them. No more staining them seats or by some of that waterproofing fabric spray.

    Hope you mess nothing up!

Rent a steam cleaner or buy a small portable one.... If you happen to have a dehumidifier leave it in the cab overnight after you've cleaned it, and a portable fan. If somehow you are able to leave the doors open or window down all the better

I want a steam cleaner just so many choices. Don’t want to buy a junk one for lots of money!

Running a heater in a small bedroom, should dry it out nicely.

I'm thinking I may hold off on the ECGS bushing replacement. Since my truck only has 6k miles on it and Toyota has now issued a TSB for the needle bearing, I may roll the dice and let them replace it should it go back. That and the install seems intimidating to me.

Is that a really bad idea?

@17tacostormtrooper Are there any good alignment shops in the area that I could hit up after we get my suspension done on Saturday? If not, I'll just get Toyota to do it on Monday when they replace my headliner:anonymous:

I'd do the bearing. Mine changed with the lift at 13k. Factory one was already showing wear, bearing already wearing down/loose.

Why is your headliner being replaced?

Hmmm....I know the factory one, and the TSB one would be inferior. Just tempted to let Toyota pay for a replacement or two.
