Southern belle gonna buy me a Taco

SO Im thinking about buying this truck. 08 DCSB TRD OR 2WD Has Kenwood and Basslink ( sounds very nice) , Undercover, Westin Step rails, and nary a scratch. 26K pampered miles with 7/75 extended Warranty. Got him down to $21,500. He's going for an F-150 Raptor.

Another dealer has a 4WD Sport with 55K same year but they are in love with that truck and want $25K. They were willing to come down to $23.5 I don't care for the scoop thing. Kinda looks a little showy and I definitely don't need 4WD.

You don't need it till you need it, however, for the price difference/miles/warranty of the 08 OR, that would be my decision as well. And you get a locking rear on the OR, which can help some if you get into a hairy position. Not a 4wd, but defiantly better than open diff.

I'd go for the O/R personally. Especially if you already have an AWD for the little bit of snow that we get around here. I don't like the scoop either. One of the reasons I got my O/R instead of the Sport.

 

If you really don't need 4wd, go with the Off Road. That's not a bad deal on it. Welcome to TW!

Unless you like the TRD Sport's looks over the OR, which as you have stated you dont, then there is no reason to not go with the OR. Sounds like a nice truck sight unseen and low miles can't beat that.
