I talked to a local buddy of mine who is a County Sheriff here in WA State and he said as long as the plate is still visible and lit up by the light at night, it's good.

If finding out the status of your bumper is critical enough for you to document the number of each and every request you make in a public forum, maybe you should think about engaging SSO via email instead.

 

if making unnecessary comments about things that honestly don’t concern you are critical enough, maybe you should make them via DM. Or just not and look like less of a dick.

 

Just a thought about using direct contact instead of a public forum, if you have a need to get the part ASAP. It might make you look like less of a dick.

and if you mean ASAP as in I ordered it 15 months ago, I feel like I’ve been rather patient thus far given the situation. If you dropped $2k over a year ago and are still waiting, maybe you might feel the same.

 

FYI, I did. I just happen to get lucky and the slimlines were one of the first ones off the prod line. AAMOF with the wiring, add ons, light bar, ect ect, it was over 2k. That was 27 months ago.

My point was merely that counting the posts like that in a public forum comes off as a bit of a dick move, even if that was not the intention. I get it on the wait I do. I was there for a year + waiting and used direct email to communicate with SSO with great results.

Just a thought.

 

SSO was transparent the whole way through and the bumper and everything else ordered came though just as promised. Their direct email worked great for any timeline questions as well.

 

All backorders for this particular item are being packaged up the week of 7/29. They will ship shortly after that.

 

Got a UPS shipping notice from DMM Motorsports last night. Full plate bumper should be here next week.

 

Bumper arrived in good shape, a bit of the powder coat is wore off of the shackle mount. No instructions in the box, anyone know what the small bracket type things are for in the hardware bag?

The brackets may be for a universal light bar mount. I'm not certain what exact variation you got though.
