    This is like watching a broncos game with my wife. I just like to watch good games she’s a die hard fan. She would much rather watch her team sail nice and easy to victory but I just don’t see the entertainment in it...

    My great uncle guided Ted (fly-fishing) for trout & salmon on some pretty storied rivers here in Maine. I met him several times as a young kid in the early 70's. I have some fly-fishing related memorabilia from both of them.

    Man am I jealous!
    As far as entertainment factor ,this is why I prefer baseball over football ( and I do love football) The possibility of watching seven baseball games with intensity that is unmatched is awesome . I’ve only got to watch one game it was a 5 PM game versus the Astros. I listen to it at work while I’m in my machine I’m lucky at least that way

    That must have been really something to meet him.

    As I kid, I saw Ted Williams give a fly casting demonstration at the New England Sportmens' Show in Boston. He could toss a fly a great distance and land it exactly where he wanted to. It was amazing to watch.
