    Hello Tacomaworld,
I am currently running the rough country 3 inch lift kit on my double cab long bed. Spacers in the front and blocks in the rear. As you all may be able to guess, the ride is absolutely awful. I would like to upgrade my lift eventually (when my wallet allows me to) and I am trying to weigh my options. I would like to upgrade to 5100's all the way around along with 885's and AAL in the rear (seems to be a popular option). However, seeing as I am 2wd, I have recently been leaning toward a 4 inch MaxTrac spindle lift. My question is, If i were to go with the spindle lift, remove the spacers, and swap the block for an AAL, would there be any damage to the coils or struts after removing the spacers? Also, would the ride quality become noticeably better? And finally, with the spindles and stock struts/coils in the front, would i regret not going with the 5100's and 885's as far as ride quality is concerned? First post by the way so bear with me :D

Do the spindles, then get 5100s and leave them at 0 for a nice ride.. With 4" in the front you may need more than just an add a leaf in the rear to level.

What options would I be looking at for the back then? Sticking with blocks?

The cheap way would be add a leaf plus blocks... The best way would be a new leaf pack. Either way your probly gonna need longer brake lines too.

You probably haven't seen this yet but this thread may be interesting to you.

I am currently running the spindles with billies set at 0 and 885 coils so you can actually do both  lol
But it is quite a bit of lift. I would recommend the spindles any day as they are great and if you go with billies at 0 it will be a nice ride. You can't really go wrong with either direction.

Did your spindle lift push your front wheels out? I checked out your build page and didn't see that you added spacers in the rear to compensate for the front.

It pushed them out probably about an inch or so (not too ridiculous). I didn't add wheel spacers in the rear and I never notice much of a difference.
