    GM has 35 full time employees that do nothing but search Social Media for customer issues.

    Well I bet it was because of me. When I called Toyota I gave them an earful and told them this will be an epidemic and another PR nightmare. They denied me, my dealer was the one who fixed it for free.

    Thanks for the update. I recommend it for anyone in a wet snowy climate.

    Nahh.... Your case is too recent.
    It takes months of documented failures to get a recall rolling.
    Accidents help a LOT, and injuries or fatalities are a fast-track, but it would not have worked through corporate and the Feds in 30 days.

    The recall cites a number of accidents where the tire fell and hit a following vehicle. Corporate knew about this when you submitted your claim. Shame on them for denying it.
