    On my 1998, there was a silver key thingy in the glove box. Put that on the end of the rods that are stored in rear passenger seat area. Then take the rod with silver thing on the end and stick it in between the tailgate and back bumper.

    You will probally have to crawl up under the truck with a flashlight and see how it works the first time. Then, screw the rod and the tire will lower on by a wire. Once it gets down to the ground just move it to one side of the tire and pull it through the center of tire.
