    I'd stay away from apr based on this: A warranty on an engine doesn't cover labor and shipping so I don't think it's a major selling point even if you do all your own work due to the time and money involved. Most of the online engine rebuilders have really poor reviews. Yotatech seems to be the most legitimate, but for $3k+ I'd try looking for a wrecked truck with a 2.7 - I got a babied 3.4 w/ 160k and all it's accessories and transmission for $1400. Either that or take the engine out and tear it down and have a reputable local builder put it back together or drop it off as-is you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself.

    Agreed, the deals are out there. Hell I have a running spare 3rz and I paid 2k for the whole truck it came out of.
