I used to use anti-seize on plugs, lately I've stopped. I found that the gray stuff would cook and harden into cement making removal difficult. The copper color anti-seize is a little better, it tends to stay more goopy over time. But overall I stopped using it

On my truck, I did use it.
I have NOT used it. Honestly, it depends on my mood. Lol
I typically use the gray, mostly because it’s readily available at most all places.
So far, I haven’t encountered the cement like problem, but I’ll look closer the next time.

I used the copper stuff. Was on the fence though.

My theory is Toyota was trying to throw a bone to a couple different companies.

Other than the markings they look identical.

Mods are currently being changed .....
The color of the plugs look fine on your old ones. Just for fun, you can measure the gap of the old ones to see how bad they were. I've changed my plugs 2x now, and both times the old ones were in the .057-.060 range and that was with 90k and 60k miles on them. I believe new is .039-.044.

To everyone that changed the spark plugs. Did you notice any difference? More power? Better idle? MPG?

My truck has more pep and idles more smoothly. I don’t calculate the mpgs unfortunately so couldn’t say about that.

I think the only time you’d notice is if the old ones were badly worn, otherwise it’ll just run like it should.
