Just changed spark plugs @ 45k miles. If look at pics will see the wear (erosion) on them.
Definitely that is why manual says replace every 30k for the V6.

Mine will be due in 5 thousand. Wish the 4.0 used iridiums like the 2.7 four cyl.

Guess I will change front and rear diff fluids along with transfer case oil at 30k also.

I just changed mine at 38,000 miles and they didn't really look too bad. I would expect they could have gone a little while longer but it wasn't too bad of a job.

4.0L doesn't use the iridium, but I think you can find iridiums that fit.

I did the diffs and transfer case oil changes with Mobil 1 75W-90.

Honestly the transfer case oil looked like new. Front wasn't that bad, and rear obviosly looked blackish...

The sixes of mine looked like in the picture.

I use 87 octanes regular, if that matters.

It can if you put them in. V6 takes same Iridium plugs as a Lexus ES350. My Taco is going on 95K with NGK LFR6AIX-11 Iridiums. I did pull them out at 85K to clean and re-gap. One thing I have learned; don't get entry level Iridiums. Get the ones with nickel ground electrodes; they will last longer without re-gapping. My next set, Denso Iridium SK20HR11, are sitting on my work bench...

What were the gaps on the removed plugs? Were the NGK plug gaps on bank 2 slightly larger?

I would've just put new ones in at 85,000 instead of cleaning and re-gapping etc.

Engine was running fine; my intent was to check them and clean them, which I should have done at 60K. Iridiums usually last 100K (120K recommended for the Lexus).
