    Hey spbd, I dropped off my truck at T-Rex on 10/21/11 & picked it up on 11/03/11. I wonder if they had both our trucks at the same time?

    @steve J I had my truck in there around the same time they kept it for a week to design a grill, my truck is on there web site, the bhlm I did myself just followed instructions on a BHLM thread. I just got the scoop grill last week from trex. Looks super clean.

    Hey sbpd, how much work was it to get the trex grill in? I want to replace my 2012 grill but don't want to have to hack at it too much. Really like the TRD emblem in there too.

    wildbill, hey man t-rex did the install, ive taken it out when doing mods doesnt look to hard looks like simple tab grinding with a dye grinder. Thanks the trd emblem I got off ebay.. im in the process of changing its mounting hardware (looks tacky) not factory.

    Has anybody ordered the 51938 t-rex grill and done the installation? I am about to order it and want to get an idea of how simple or not-so-simple the installation is. I have a TRD emblem and a TOYOTA emblem ready to add to it, not sure which one i'm gonna use yet.

    When ur cutting the OEM grill, do not cut the lip - that's where you screw the mesh grill.
