Just left the alignment shop. Wanted to verify my results after messing with the UCAS. We had to adjust the drivers side to the +3 degree setting for caster and passenger side remained at the original +2 degree setting. Does it appear to be correctly seated after torquing? I'm used to how the plate marked SPC sits in the groove at the neutral (+2 degree setting).

No, there is some extra cap between the BJ and UCA.

That's the thin plate with the star shape in it. I don't see any grooves to distinguish when it's in the proper position, just tried to align it to what the picture shows for +3

I think I know what happened. When rotating the star plate the washer must stay in the machines square, so the star plate and washer are both rotated right now. I'll mark it with tape and adjust the washer back into the slot and hopefully not lose my settings

There is a groove which is as wide as the star plate. Now it's not in the groove:

It needs to be realigned anyways. They need to lower the camber on the drivers side and if you're pulling to the right they need to lower the caster on the driver side.

Any pics of the lower eccentrics?

I can take some. Those are just the bolts with markings on the lower control arms correct? The truck didn't feel like it had any pull. He added more caster and camber to get the cross camber and cross caster numbers within the green. I'm not extremely familiar with those numbers or what they mean in reference to individual numbers

I'm guessing they didn't add the "before" numbers until after they adjusted the caster/camber.

Being a self proclaimed alignment snob I would have wanted close to -0- camber, but I realize .5+ is what they usually shoot for.

It looks good though. How does it drive?

Correct, I was with him the whole time so told him it didn't matter since the truck was there just a few days ago. We got the caster near the max using eccentrics then adjusted everything else using the UCAs. I wanted the camber closer to 0 but he didn't want to spend more time adjusting it. Alignment feels great but my tires are giving me a lot of shake at ~55 MPH. They're general grabber at2s with 43k on them, still have great tread but even after having them rebalanced a few weeks back I'm having issues.

That's exactly why he had to align it twice. :bananadead:

It sounds like you're in need of some new tires and then you'll be set.
