speaker ?

hi im new to the forum and would like to ask you tacoma brothers a ? i have a 08 tacoma dc, i just installed a new kenwood deck and now i want to install a amp and sub but will a new sub and stock door speakers sound alright or should i replace the 6x9 componets for 6.5 componets? im kinnda confused about what should i install first door speaker or amp and sub ,any suggestions would be great thanks

It all depends on what you are trying to achieve? There is no correct answer here. I'd replace the fronts with a set of 6X9 components. But that's me. Many will tell you to do the 6 1/2's. Many couldn't tell the difference between the two.

I replace the speakers with a set of 6 X 9 components, then add an amp, then a deck, then a sub. .02

 

I have a kenwiod ddx512 with stock speakers and a 12 inch sub and it sounds fine. I do plan on replacing all the speakers when I have some extra cash
