This here is what I had in mind at the beginning of this install and process! Tears aren’t working still but it sound amazing even without them. IM AMAZED

 

Thanks to all who’ve helped me out and or offered advice even if it got annoying! I’m glad to finally be done and can say I learned quite a bit. It’s been a crazy ass week having my truck torn apart but I’ve managed to sound deaden the floors and upgrade the sound system immensely! I learned that some instructions are in general for most part and a lot of it I over thought about and ended up screwing up double and triple guessing and I also learned that audio is a lot harder than most things to do with trucks bc a screw up doesn’t forgive you to try again to get it right wo hitting the wallet! Don’t get in a hurry and do this when pressed for time. I’ll probably add a high quality dsp to the setup soon and be done but for now I’m just extremely happy to have my truck put back together and properly fused and wired with oversized gauge ofc wire. lol it’s been stressful AF but it’s been fun in a way too. I waited until I’m nearly 40 to do my first true audio upgrade and I’m impressed with what powering speakers to their rms does. I’m hearing tones and instruments I’ve not heard before in some of my favorite songs.
