Does your cruise control set speed now match you actual speed?

Got my correction module installed yesterday. Easy-peasy! Man, Hypertech finally updated their product AND OVTune 2.0 gets released in the same week? Mind blown.

One end plugs into the big connector on the back of the instrument cluster, and the other end receives the factory cable that USED to be plugged into the back of the instrument cluster. See attached PDF.

It works with both MT and AT plus 3.5L and 2.7L engines.

Did you have to take the dash apart to install on your 2018? I have the same vehicle and want to try it.

Yes, but it's easy. The trim pieces around the instrument cluster just pop off by hand, then the cluster itself is held in place by four screws. Very simple to do. It took me all of 15 minutes. You can find a PDF with step-by-step instructions on Hypertech's website.

I put in the rough country one, had to mess with the sizes a few times to nail it down but now its pretty much perfect. Very happy with the price and ease of install. cant go wrong with the hyptech roughcountry branded one.

If I upgraded from stock tires (265/65/17) to (265/70/17) would I need to do a recalibration or the change is not large enough to matter?

The difference between those two tire sizes is one inch. Most would probably say no, it's not worth the cost of the calibrator but i would do it. Comes down for personal preference....

I ordered the Rough Country calibrator (90043) from the Gauge-Store website. With free shipping, no tax, and a 5% off promo code (save5), they had the best price I could find: $132.95 OTD.

Considering a couple of burgers and 2 beers at a sit-down restaurant is now about $60, I think that's a decent price to pay! :spending:

I apologize in advance if this has already been answered, but now that these work with 19 and 20, what's the difference between the RC speedo calibration device and the hypertech that's damn near double the price?

Hypertech is the manufacturer, Rough Country is a reseller.

That's what I though but they are visually very different based off the pictures online and the prices are drastically different.

Hypertech on top and RC on bottom. The hypertech is $229 on their website.
