Speedometer calibration by tire size

    Over the years I have read complaints about actual speed versus speedometer speed and the lousy responses from Toyota dealers saying that 5% off is the standard. It may be THEIRS, but no one has to accept it, or "live with it"! Using our own "Tire Size Calculator" put in your current tire size and in the New Tire Size boxes change the sidewall height (middle number) first to correct the "speedometer difference" below...
