I'VE WANTED TO DO THIS HEADLIGHT MOD FOR AWHILE AND FINALLY HAD THE TIME. WENT OFF WITHOUT A HITCH FOR THE MOST PART. I USED A LITTLE TOO MUCH SILICONE SEALANT ON THE FIRST LENS AND IT TOOK SOME TIME TOO CLEAN OFF THE ACCESS. ALSO, FOUND THE NOTORIOUS 4TH UNDERNEATH HEADLIGHT BOLT A LOT EASIER TO REMOVE WHEN YOU TAKE THE TWO SCREWS HOLDING THE BOTTOM SECTION OF THE WHEEL-WELL HOUSING COVER. THIS ALLOWS YOU TO SLIDE THE UNDER WELL HOUSING TO THE SIDE AND GIVE YOURSELF MORE ROOM TO REACH UP TO THE BOLT.

Very nice....which oven did you use? Again, very nicely done. How many hours it take you?

305 degrees for 9 minutes for the disassembly...290 degrees for 5 minutes for the reassembly. I removed and disassembled everything in about 2.5 hours. Painted the bezels and let them set overnight. Reassembled everything in Day 2 in about 2 hours. Total working time..approx 5 hours. Well worth the effort IMO.

It's really not that bad...when I told my wife that was her reaction as well  ...however; your not really baking them, just heating them up,(oven off) to soften the factory seal. There's really not that much that can wrong and IMO worth the effort.
