Intervention! Yeah that's probably a good idea. I don't typically post anything in here cause no one reads it as evidence by only six pages in 5 years haha. I'll hopefully have something to add to it soon, coilovers get back from SDHQ on Thursday and so do my FOAs (which need to make it for one more trip). Rear Kings will be here at the end of March so I can feel what a real tuned shock is like. Then we'll see how long it is before I go front Kings to match or ADS with the long travel... Right now my wallet is tapped out between shock rebuilds, new shock mount fab, new welder, new rear shocks, and gassing up the cruiser while it gets 10-11MPG haha

Oh yeah and I forgot all the rear end stuff too, ubolt flip, and new leafs and shackles. I got the Superbumps today, excited to make some mounts for those this weekend so I don't bottom out on the shocks. Funny thing though, apparently bottoming and topping out on the shocks isn't as bad for them as we all think it is, Ben from Filthy Motorsports was telling me it is more likely that bottoming on my shocks would cause me to rip a shock mount off rather than hurt the shock itself. Just thought that was funny and it is nice to know the accidental bottom out isn't much to worry about but like all things that involve high force it isn't a good idea to make a habit out of it.

I'm going to be doing a very similar rear setup and ironically got my rear shocks from filthy motorsports too. I'm currently working on the front end. No idea what I'm doing too so if you learn anything or any tricks lemme know!

While TW would lead you to believe you will kill a bus full of nuns if you don’t have bumps....

I’m with FM on this too, as long as you’re not pounding around in the desert or jumping, you’ll be fine.

Need more words than that! ;)

I like how you used the cherry picker to take the bed off the frame - I'm going to have to try that, too :)

Oh, now I need words too. You people and your thorough build threads and vocabularies of gold and platinum. Harumph I say!

    K, I'll make a write up...

That's awesome man! What kings are those and who set them up? I ordered 10" 2.5dia smoothies with resis and welded ends like those but they haven't arrived yet. How does it all ride and how far angled back are your shocks?

Got them from filthy motorsports and they set em up 10/12 (2.5 smooth remote resi and adj). We didn't really have a science to it, just measured how much space under the bed for the dom, we wanted 4 up travel 6 down or 5 and 5, and I haven't even driven around. Just got the front bumped up so it's almost level. I'll try and add more photos later but the dom cross member was 1" and at most with the tab 1.25 and it barelyyyyyy clears like buh barely lol but the angles are good bottom tabs don't hang too low. Seems like it'll work

We tried to use squeekypenguin's photos too as guide. Mine ended perfectly under the bed like less than a mm

Oh and I just did a 4 hour drive on I5 and some back roads and the back is amazing. Floats over bumps but is still steady and firm... thoroughly impressed road wise so far. The front is pretty stiff. Hopefully after it breaks in a bit and the skids and sliders are on (some point a winch also) it'll get a bit less harsh

Update, I did the toytec ubolt flip, Dakar leaf, and trail gear axle relocation. If you do this you have to drill a hole in the ubolt plate to mate the relocation.
