Soooooo from the last meet and trail run, most of you have seen my truck. Everytime I get a new truck I like to do a couple things right off the bat to change it up and make it my own, and since its income tax time why not? My question to yall is, what do you suggest? I'm pretty happy with the suspension so i'm leaning towards some cosmetic mods to change up the look. I've already got custom bedside stickers in work with the rest of the group. Maybe a grill? Headlights? Neat interior mods? New wheels/ powdercoat my stock ones black?

Damn skippy. The custom stickers i'm having made have a pic of AK in the backdrop but have "hillbilly edition" included as well. I'm a lot more civilized now that I would like and had to purposely lose my accent but deep down i'm still the same person haha.

Oh and even though the truck already has weld on trail gear sliders they are getting cut off. Back when I had my 00 reg cab I joined our group buy and am currently having a set of Brute Force sliders built with a kick up :D I really want a grill but from what I read (could be missing something) homertaco only built a few prototypes for the 01-04 and thats it. Not sure I could spend that much coin on one anyway, even though they are gorgeous. And as far as building my own satoshi I neither have the tools or a place to do it :(

I have blue accents all over my interior :D Looks sweet. PRetty easy to do... and cheap... maybe a better mod to do when you don't have money burning holes in your pocket....

Check my build for a how to ;)

    Too many to list now.
Stereo upgrades? Autostart? Exhaust? Snorkel? If you can't find something to buy for your truck you're not doing it right hahaha

Anybody have any experience with grillcraft? Thinking about color matching with a black mesh grillcraft. Thoughts?

No experience. Wanting to do something with my own grill.

Probably gonna buy some mesh and do a not-so-deep sashtoshi (whatever it is called and however it is spelled) cause itll be way cheaper i think. And i think i will like the slightly recessed mesh better than the flush look of the grillcraft. I am reserving my big bucks for my new cd player and CB set ups. And my really really big bucks for a crazy-ass year long trip my friend and i are scheming up :spy:

Just my thoughts on the matter. Probably not all that helpful ;)

The satoshi's definitely look better. I jus don't wanna be messing with fiberglass and bondo in my apartment lol plus I have no experience with either. I'd like to attempt it somewhere down the road though

When did you order it? I looked through his threads and in the 01-04 thread it says he's not taking orders for them? Maybe I missed something

I thought he was still doing 01-04s but just not the raptor style ones. I haven't read his thread in a while though.
