Just put the spidertraxx spacers on my truck with some 285/70/17's. Curious has anyone done some trail running in the desert with these? I am curious if they can take the abuse of offroading. I have the mid travel kit on my truck so i will be pushing the truck but not to the extreme of a long travel kit obviously. Just curious what your experiences are or actual dirt time knowledge is with these installed. Don't want my lugs to snap or end up with a tire flying off since this is my everyday driver and i will need to drive it back from wherever i offroad it.

I have had mine on for a while and have a mid travel setup also. No complaints yet. I have done some light prerunning stuff as well as some trails.

I doubt he is worried about rubbing. He just installed fiberglass fenders. He more than likely wants a wider stance. Correct?

I would be AMAZED if you could snap them. They are the same thing as a hub and a rim. The major problem folks have reported (and not with spridertrax) is wheel bearing wear due to moment-arm force.

Mine are fine for the wheeling I have done and drive great on the road.
